This was back when we were all working on Marvel’s Spider-Man together. We used to have meetings where everyone from Insomniac, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Marvel would come together and talk about what the future held for the web-slinger. Now, let’s speak about the news that you weren’t expecting: Marvel’s Wolverine will be making an appearance. When it comes to our Spider-Man games, we’ve been lucky to work with an incredible number of very great performers, and Tony has been an excellent addition to the group. The return of Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter, who will reprise their roles as Peter and Miles, is also something to be excited about. The gameplay video seen in today’s clip is just a teaser for what’s to come in terms of the new skills our heroes will learn, the suits they will don (more on that later), and the enemies who will attempt to track them down.Īnd, since we’re on the subject of villains, did you catch the last phrase of the trailer at the end? In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we are thrilled to reveal that Tony Todd (of Candyman fame) will be voicing the symbiote-fueled Venom. Like our past Spider-Man games, we aim to not only tell a fantastic Super Hero tale but also offer a fascinating human story, one that is full of heart and comedy and that delves deep into the lives of the individuals who are hiding behind their superhero masks. As much as we are looking forward to stretching the capabilities of the platform in this sequel, we are also looking forward to creating whole new tales for Peter and Miles. We are thrilled to be continuing the adventures of Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their most epic single-player adventure yet, which will be released exclusively on PlayStation 5 systems in the year 2023.
